What is Sounds Like Romance?
Sounds Like Romance is not a subscription book box. We release licensed limited special edition books every one to two months giving readers the opportunity to purchase each release individually. There are no recurring payments or ongoing commitments.
We often collaborate with other book boxes; some of their books are available on our online store.
When will my order ship?
Each product listing includes an estimated shipping timeframe.
To ensure accuracy and efficiency, we process orders in batches. Shipping labels are created before dispatch begins, so it may take up to 2–3 weeks after your shipping label is generated for tracking to begin updating.
We recommend checking our Shipping Updates page for the latest information on current dispatch timeframes.
When will the featured author and cover be revealed?
The featured author and exclusive special edition cover will be announced between one and two weeks before pre-orders open.
Is my order reserved when it's in my cart?
Unfortunately, no. Adding an item to your cart does not reserve it. Your order is only secured once checkout has been completed successfully. If a box sells out before payment is processed; it may be removed from your cart.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes! We proudly ship internationally where possible.
Please note:
- International shipping costs are calculated at checkout.
- Customers are responsible for any import duties, taxes, VAT or customs fees charged by their destination country.
- If a parcel is returned due to unpaid customs charges or an incorrect address the customer is responsible for any reshipping costs.
- We are unable to refund orders returned for these reasons.
If we are unable to ship directly to your country, you are welcome to use a third-party freight forwarding service. Please note that Sounds Like Romance cannot accept responsibility for parcels once they have been delivered to a forwarding provider.
What if my parcel is lost or stolen?
All eligible orders include tracking.
Once your order has been handed to the postal carrier delivery is managed by that carrier. If your tracking indicates your parcel has been lost in transit please contact us as soon as possible so we can investigate.
If your tracking shows your parcel has been successfully delivered; we are unable to offer a replacement or refund. We recommend contacting your local postal service for assistance.
Orders shipped to an incorrect address entered during checkout are not eligible for replacement or refund.
Will you reprint sold-out editions?
Unless otherwise stated, all Sounds Like Romance special editions are exclusive limited print runs and will not be reprinted.
What's included in each box?
Contents may vary slightly between editions; but every box is thoughtfully curated for romance readers.
Do you accept returns or cancellations?
Due to the limited nature of our special editions, all sales are final. We do not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges for change of mind.
My books arrived damaged
We take great care in packaging every order, but occasionally damage can occur during transit.
If your books or exclusive items arrive damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with:
- Your order number
- Clear photographs of the damage
- Photographs of the packaging
Our team will assess the damage in line with our Damage & Replacement Policy and advise you of the next steps.
